I’m a user experience/interface designer and creative director with nearly 20 years of experience. I have led teams, mentored talent, and created some amazing products.
I love creating simple, enjoyable digital products. I plan, produce, package, and market products right through to delivery, managing stakeholders along the way.
2021 – Present
I lead product and marketing design for Cammy, a video security tech startup.
Our focus is on intelligent detection software wrapped in amazing easy-to-use customer-facing applications.
I redesigned the brand and design system from the ground up and applied it to the core desktop, mobile, tablet, and tvOS apps.
Also, I crafted the Cammy marketing website and customer sign-in area, and I’m responsible for all marketing material including video promotions and social media visuals.
Senior UI/UX Designer
2015 – 2021
I undertook research, planning, prototyping, and design activities to create digital entertainment products for TV, mobile, and web.
During my time with Fetch, I directly worked on integrations for flagship providers such as Netflix and Stan, planned solutions for sporting providers such as Optus Sport, and delivered integrated applications for Australia’s Free-to-air providers: ABC iView, SBS On-Demand, 7+, 9now and 10Play.
As well as designing interfaces I also explored physical product design, re-imagining the current generation of Fetch remote controls, and architected voice integration via Google Home.
2005 – 2015
I joined the digital agency Future Medium as a junior in 2005 where I established a broad range of skills in print and digital.
I became the creative lead for multiple high-level accounts. I developed user strategies, designed concepts, and created prototypes. I also oversaw production for numerous successful interactive digital campaigns, websites and applications.
In 2010 I stepped up to become Creative Director and was responsible for the creative output of the agency. I led two full-time designers in creating industry-leading and user-focussed websites, campaigns, and mobile and web applications for large brands across a range of industry sectors.
